San Francisco Bike Parking Facility

The bike parking facility at the San Francisco Caltrain Station provides free, secure bike parking for riders who want to park their bike at the station rather than taking it on the train. The facility, which opened in 2007, has space for 230 bikes.

The $502,000 construction cost was funded by a combination of state and federal grants to operate for three years, as well as funding from the City and County of San Francisco and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.

Since 2013, operations have been provided by BikeHub. Bike repairs and parts/accessory sales offset the cost of providing free attended bike parking from 6:30am to 7:45pm weekdays.
