Construction of Paralleling Station
Effective Dates
June 1, 2020 – November 2022

Workers have begun construction of the Paralleling Station facility at Bayshore as part of Caltrain electrification. To facilitate construction of the Paralleling Station, 22 parking spaces are permanently closed and 11 spaces are closed temporarily. The Bayshore Station will remain open during construction. Please observe the No Parking signs. Download Construction Notification.

Bayshore Station Overpass Rehabilitation Project
Effective Dates
September 19 — December 2022

The Bayshore Station Overpass Rehabilitation Project will begin on September 19, 2022. The platforms will be partially closed and will impact passengers getting on and off the trains. All passengers boarding and alighting at Bayshore Station, including people with bikes, please move to the three northernmost cars of the train. Additionally, there will be a dedicated access tunnel to reach the stairway and the elevator.

Please follow signage and marked pathways while inside the station. Elevators and stairways will remain accessible while trains are in service.

ADA Advisory: If Bayshore is your starting station, please call Caltrain Customer Service the day of your trip. In case the elevator is out of service, Caltrain representatives will be able to help you plan your trip. Last minute changes can happen, please be patient while working with staff in finding alternate options.

Recycling

Caltrain makes being sustainable easy.  Customers are encouraged to place paper, glass/cans, food and trash in the same waste container.  The contents make their way to Newby Island Resource Recovery Park where machinery and trained staff sort all contents for appropriate recycling or landfill.
