Parking at Caltrain stations costs $5.50 for the day, and permits can be purchased using the ParkMobile app or through ticket machines onsite. ParkMobile allows riders to simply input the station zone number (which can be found through the app and will be posted on station signage and on station pages on the Caltrain website) as well as the number of the parking space. To use the app, customers must create an account by entering an email address, payment method, and license plate number. Parking at Mountain View Station is limited, so riders expecting to drive to the station to ride VTA should plan on arriving early or parking at a different Caltrain station and riding to Mountain View.
