Caltrain offers fans a convenient way to get to the Golden State Valkyries’ WNBA Finals matchups against the Atlanta Dream on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 12:30 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 19, at 5 p.m. The Valkyries are one of seven major league sports teams served by Caltrain.

Fans heading to Saturday’s game should also plan for a weekend closure of southbound U.S. 101. Caltrans will close all southbound lanes and one northbound lane of the Bayshore Freeway near Hospital Curve between Cesar Chavez Street and 17th Street from 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, to 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, for repaving and rehabilitation work. Taking Caltrain can help fans avoid freeway delays and parking challenges.

Fans can ride Caltrain to San Francisco Station at Fourth and King streets, then walk less than a mile to Chase Center or connect to Muni light rail, which is free for fans with a Valkyries ticket.

Riders should check the Caltrain weekend schedule before traveling and arrive at the platform with a valid ticket before their train departs. Fans attending Monday’s game should check the weekday schedule.
