The 49th annual San Francisco Pride Parade and Celebration will be taking place on Sunday, June 30, and Caltrain is providing extra train service to get you there!

Caltrain’s fabulous Sunday morning Pride service will get you conveniently close to the San Francisco festivities with trains departing San Jose Diridon Station between 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Northbound Train No. Departs San Jose Arrives in San Francisco

Caltrain will also provide additional weekend service capacity for southbound trains, as needed.

After more than five years of providing additional service for SF Pride, for the first time, Caltrain will also have ambassadors on board Sunday morning’s first five northbound trains departing San Jose Diridon Station between 8:09 a.m. to 9:51 a.m. offering free custom “Ride with Pride” stickers while supplies last. The decals are ideal for your laptop, water bottle, or even yourself. Be sure you get one!

The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. on Beale and Market Streets. Participants will march down Market Street and end at the Civic Center, where the festival will commence from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Market Street and a 30-minute walk to the start of the parade from the Caltrain station at 4th & King. So strut your stuff proudly down the streets of San Francisco as you head in for the day’s events.

This year’s theme for Pride is “Generations of Resistance.” For more information on the festivities and fabulous work done by the SF Pride organization, visit their website.

As always, we encourage folks heading into the City to take public transit, avoid traffic & the hassle of parking, be safe and have fun. Happy Pride!
