Getting to Stanford Stadium from Palo Alto

Arriving on Northbound platform (from San Jose): Take the pedestrian tunnel under the tracks, west toward Stanford. Walk west along Palm Drive, cross El Camino and turn left on Arboretum Road. 

Arriving on Southbound platform (from San Francisco): Exit the station platform through several exits around the station toward Stanford. Walk west along Palm Dr., cross El Camino and turn left on Arboretum Road.

Know Before You Go 

  • Day Pass is the best option for a roundtrip to Palo Alto Station.
  • Clipper app - Download on your phone and “tap on” at the platform readers before boarding and after exiting the train.
  • The Caltrain Mobile app allows you to purchase One-Way, Day Pass and daily parking from your mobile device.  
  • Groups of 15 or more save 10% by ordering in advance.  
  • Parking: Pay for parking at Ticket Machines and with the Caltrain Mobile app. Note the parking spot number to pay. Caltrain parking is enforced 24/7.
