Transit Month 2023 is a chance to celebrate the critical role transit plays in our communities. Bay Area transit agencies and rider groups are celebrating all month long with events, prizes and information. Be sure to check with your local transit agency for their activities.

Caltrain Transit Month Events

Sept 29 – Transit CEO Happy Hour Ride Along and Q & A

Transit leaders from across the Bay will meet in Palo Alto for a Happy Hour Ride-Along on Caltrain, Friday Sept 29. The group will then board Caltrain north. Get your questions ready as the GMs and CEOs will be taking questions in person from passengers and on social media.

Where to Ride Along
The transit leaders will come from their own systems to meet in Palo Alto at 5 PM. The group will answer questions, take photos and mingle until 5:19, when they will board Caltrain 709 Northbound to Millbrae.

Ride-Along Schedule
5 PM - GMs arrive at Palo Alto Caltrain.
5-5:19 PM - Palo Alto Caltrain Station/Transit Center (Northbound Platform) – Photo shoot, social media Q&A, mingling.

5:19 PM - Board Caltrain 709 for final leg – Arrives Millbrae (5:44pm), SF (6:03pm)
Happy Hour drink with Giants fans, public.
5:44 PM - Arrive Millbrae - END official event.
