Citizens Advisory Committee

About CAC

Caltrain, owned and operated by the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board, has a Citizens Advisory Committee to represent San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties. The CAC is composed of nine volunteer members who serve in an advisory capacity to the tri-county policy board, providing input on the needs of current and potential rail customers, and reviewing and commenting on staff proposals and actions as requested by the board.  The committee does not have independent duties or authority to take actions that will bind the Joint Powers Board of Directors.
