Clipper changes are here.
Caltrain will hold a public meeting and hearing to take comments on the following proposed fare structure changes:
- Elimination of the Clipper discount off the base fare impacting customers who use Monthly Passes and one-way cash fares effective January 1, 2026. Youth one-way cash fares remain the same.
- 1/1/27: Increase Zone Upgrade fare by $0.25
- 1/1/28: Increase Base Fare by $0.25
- 1/1/29: Increase Zone Upgrade fare by $0.25
- 1/1/30: Increase Base Fare by $0.25
- Authorize Executive Director, or designee, to set charter train rates on a case-by-case basis.
