NEWS: Caltrain recognizes Juneteenth, will run weekday schedule June 19

Caltrain will operate a regular weekday schedule for Juneteenth, Friday, June 19. 

Visit the Caltrain Holiday Service page for all holiday service information. The Customer Service Center is open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on weekends and holidays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  

In observance of the holiday, the administrative offices for Caltrain, located at 166 N. Rollins Road. in Millbrae, will be closed on Juneteenth.  Caltrain will still have ambassadors at stations for Friday’s World Cup match. 

Juneteenth, held annually on June 19, is a federal holiday that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. Juneteenth was first recognized as a federal holiday in 2021 and has been celebrated since 1866.
