Caltrain Runs Special Service to Giants Fan Fest

On Saturday, February 4, Caltrain will be running a special pre-event train to the annual KNBR & Giants Fan Fest. 

This free event is always a hit for Giants fans eager for the season to start. This year’s Fan Fest offers live interviews and Q&A sessions, as well as opportunities to seek autographs, access the field, get a selfie with VIPs, tour the Clubhouse and much more. Caltrain is the perfect way to get to the event held at Oracle Park, a short walk from the San Francisco Caltrain Station.  

Riders are encouraged to check the weekend schedule for service to and from Oracle Park to ensure they are at the platform with a paid ticket before trains arrive and depart.  

Given the large crowds expected, riders are encouraged to purchase a Day Pass through Clipper or the Caltrain mobile app to avoid lines at ticket vending machines. Riders using the mobile app must purchase their ticket on the day of the game for it to be valid. Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system; tickets are not sold onboard trains but can be purchased at station ticket machines.  

Parking at Caltrain stations costs $5.50 for the day, and permits can be purchased using the Caltrain mobile app or through ticket machines onsite. The mobile app can be used immediately after parking, as it requires a space number. Paid parking rules are enforced throughout the day.
