Caltrain Partners with ParkMobile

ParkMobile allows riders to easily pay for station parking via app

Caltrain riders can now pay to park at a Caltrain through ParkMobile, allowing easier access to Caltrain than ever before.

ParkMobile, already in use around the Bay Area, allows riders to simply input the station zone number (which can be found through the app, and will be posted on station signage and on station pages on the Caltrain website) as well as the number of the parking space. The app requires users to set up an account, which requires an email address, payment method and license plate number, which can be done easily thanks to Caltrain’s on-board Wi-Fi.

Riders without a smartphone can still set up an account with ParkMobile and pay over the phone by calling the phone number listed on signs. Riders can also pay for parking at the Ticket Vending Machines located on the platform.

Caltrain made the switch to ParkMobile after decommissioning its Mobile App. Parking at Caltrain stations costs $5.50 for the day.
