The Caltrain team is very excited to provide service to the newly opened Levi’s® Stadium. We have worked with VTA to give customers a convenient way to get to the games from Caltrain’s Mountain View Station. The long-awaited first event at the new Levi’s® Stadium takes place Sat., August 2 when the San Jose Earthquakes take on the Seattle Sounders.

Getting to Levi’s® Stadium Riders taking Caltrain to Levi’s® Stadium will get off at Mountain View Station and follow signs to VTA Light Rail. Light rail will provide service from Mountain View to Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara. We’ve added two southbound “Game Day Specials” to get fans to the game, in addition to our regular Sunday service. The specials will depart from San Francisco’s 4th and King Station at 4:35 and 4:55 and will make all stops (locals). Post-game: Caltrain will run two extra northbound trains after the game. The first train will depart 45 minutes after the game ends, or when full, and the second train will depart about one hour after the match, or when full. Both trains will make all local stops to San Francisco. For the special service schedule and details, click HERE. Joint Caltrain-VTA Ticket When you purchase your ticket at the ticket vending machines select the special joint Caltrain-VTA Day Pass. The ticket is good for service to and from Mountain View (Zone 3), including the light rail portion of the trip. NOTE: Although the Caltrain-VTA Day Pass is available and valid for every day service, it must be purchased the SAME DAY that you use it. The ticket is valid all day on Caltrain and until 3am on VTA. We look forward to getting you to the game.
