Caltrain Filming Permit Request Form

Just so you know:
The requester must provide a Certificate of Insurance and must meet Caltrain's minimum insurance requirements in order to be issued a film permit. Film permits generally take 2 weeks to process. The requester must obtain a signed film permit to shoot at any Caltrain location. The film permit must be present during the shoot and shown at the request of any Caltrain representative or peace officer. The permit is good only for the date(s) and time(s) indicated.

Fees:
$500-$1,000 per permit (includes admin. fees and Caltrain location rep.) Station usage fee @ $150 per hour. (2-hour minimum. All fees must be paid on the day of the shoot.) Onboard: Minimum of half the car must be rented for the shoot and only during non-peak hours (weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or anytime on weekends). Other costs may apply depending on the complexity of the shoot.
