Construction of Paralleling Station
June 1, 2020 – June 8, 2021
Workers will begin construction of the Paralleling Station facility at Bayshore as part of Caltrain electrification. To facilitate construction of the Paralleling Station, 22 parking spaces will permanently close and 11 spaces will temporarily close. The Bayshore Station will remain open during construction. Please observe the No Parking signs. Download Construction Notification.
Millbrae Parking Lot Construction
Parking spaces 2 through 19 will be temporarily closed to the public during construction of a new signal house. Parking spaces 20 to 22 will be permanently closed to public during and after construction.
Please look for signs around the work area.

Millbrae Station Parking Changes
Surface-level parking lots on the east side of the Millbrae Transit Center have been eliminated to accommodate a transit-oriented development project on BART property. While Caltrain’s parking lot west of the transit center is not impacted, we do anticipate parking shortages for our customers. Hayward Park Parking Impacts
Sept. 5, 2017 until July. 2021
On Tuesday, Sept. 5, parking spaces #70 thru 155 will be blocked off to accomodate construction trailers and equipment for the upcoming 25th Avenue Grade Separation Project.
No parking will be allowed in the listed parking spaces starting Sept. 5 at 2 a.m.
The designated parking area will be closed to traffic through Jan. 2020.
Construction Affects Parking
June 30 – July 21, 2021
Due to the construction of a signal house at the south parking lot of the Lawrence station, spaces 89, 90, 91 will be permanently closed and parking spaces 87, 88, 92, 93, 94, and 95 will be temporarily closed to the public. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Lawrence Station Wheelchair/ADA Access Unavailable
Oct. 8, 2018 until TBD
Due to construction, starting Monday, Oct 8, 2018 passengers traveling northbound getting off at Lawrence station during off peak times may need to move to the northernmost car. Conductor will be making announcements when required to do so.
Caltrain will not be able to accommodate ADA passengers at Lawrence station and they will need to alight at Sunnyvale station. Alternate accommodations will be arranged.
Santa Clara Station - Disembarking from six car trains
SIX CAR TRAINS: Customers sitting in the car next to the locomotive will need to make their way to the northern end of the car to disembark at Santa Clara due to a platform obstruction. The southernmost door on the Bombardier car will not be accessible. A crew member will be in the car to ensure passengers are able to disembark. For more info: www.caltrain.com/SixCarTrains
