About this Event:
The Caltrain Hillsdale Station will temporarily close starting on May 16, 2020 for up to six months as part of the 25th Avenue Grade Separation Project, a safety improvement project. When the closure is complete, Hillsdale will have a new station with updated amenities, such as additional shelters, new landscaping, and a center-boarding platform for riders to easily access both north and southbound trains. In addition, a new east-west connection at 28th Avenue will be built.
During the closure, Caltrain will continue overall passenger service. Please join us for the virtual town hall, to learn more about the:
- Free bus/shuttle connections to help riders access Caltrain (including maps)
- Parking at Belmont Station
- Ways you can prepare for the temporary closure
- Contact information for staying informed
The online virtual town hall will be viewed on Caltrain's YouTube page and a link will be made available 10 minutes before the event begins. A Google/YouTube login is required to participate. An interactive chat will be available for any questions. This virtual town hall is a follow up to a July 2019 online meeting.
About the 25th Avenue Grade Separation Project
When this important safety project is complete, the tracks will be separate from the road at 25th Avenue reducing horn noise and improving traffic flow; there will be two new east-west connections at 28th Avenue and 31st Avenues; and a new Hillsdale Station with updated amenities will better serve the community.
