Codified TariffThe Codified Tariff is a legal document that outlines the specific fares for the train system. For fare adjustments, Caltrain will seek public comment on proposed changes and hold a public hearing. Any changes to the Codified Tariff are approved by the Caltrain Board of Directors at a public meeting.

Caltrain is proposing changes to its Codified Tariff, which would go into effect Jan. 1, 2014. The following proposed changes will be provided to the Caltrain Board of Directors for action Dec. 5, 2013. For ways to comment or get more information, visit our Notices page.
- Provide a 10 percent discount to fare-paying groups of 25 or more that pre-purchase tickets through the Caltrain Group Travel program
- Allow companies purchasing Go Pass annual passes to include all of their employees (including those that work less than 20 hours per week) and interns
- Expand the annual Go Pass program to include residential complexes, with eligible residents being those who are five years old and older
- Make other non-substantive clarifications
