Bayshore Station Overpass Rehabilitation Project

The Bayshore Station Overpass Rehabilitation Project will remove and replace the coating on the station’s pedestrian bridge and stairwells. This will ensure the overpass remains safe and fully functional for years to come.

What to Expect During Construction

Construction on the Bayshore Station Overpass Rehabilitation Project began Summer of 2022 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

In spring/summer 2023, the pedestrian overpass, stairs, and elevator were temporarily closed and shuttle service was provided to transport passengers between the north and southbound platforms. The pedestrian overpass reopened on August 7, 2023, allowing shuttle service to be discontinued.
