Riding with a Disability:
General overview of fares, ways to purchase ticket, boarding procedures and how to get additional assistance from our Accessibility Department.
Using a Wheelchair:
Every train has at least one wheelchair accessible car that can accommodate up to three wheelchairs/mobility devices.
Two-wheeled Mobility Devices:
Customers with disabilities may bring an Electric Personal Assistive Mobility Device, such as a Segway on Caltrain if the device is used as a mobility device.
Service animals, such as guide dogs, may accompany persons with disabilities in San Mateo County Transit District facilities, on the vehicles operated by or for the district and on Caltrain.
Reasonable Modification - Request for changes in policies, practices or procedures when necessary to avoid discrimination on the basis of disability.
