CALTRAIN GEARS UP FOR BIG GAME ON NOV. 19
Few things on the Peninsula have been around as long as Caltrain – one of the closest competitors is the Big Game.
Caltrain will provide special service to the 108th game between Stanford and University of California, Berkeley on Nov. 19.
A special limited-stop train will leave San Francisco at 1:30 p.m., arriving at the Stanford Stadium station at 2:19 p.m.,
in plenty of time to meet friends at tailgate parties before the 4 p.m. kickoff.
Regular service trains will begin stopping at the stadium train station, located a short walk from the stadium, approximately two hours before game time.
All weekend trains also serve the Palo Alto station, which is located one-half mile north of the stadium station.
Northbound, extra service will leave the Stanford Stadium stop immediately after the conclusion of the game,
with regular trains stopping there for two hours.

Since there are no ticket vending machines at the Stanford station, riders are advised to purchase a
Caltrain Day Pass at their departure station before boarding the train to go to the game.
Caltrain is a proof of payment system and passengers are required to have valid tickets while onboard.
East Bay Bears fans won’t be left on the sidelines – the Millbrae Intermodal Station
offers a cross-platform connection between Caltrain and BART.
Passengers should call Caltrain at 1.800.660.4287 or visit www.caltrain.com for service and train fare information.
People with hearing impairments may call (TTY only) 650.508.6448.
