Government Affairs

Government Affairs staff is responsible for developing and coordinating the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board's (Caltrain) legislative program at the federal, state, regional and local levels.  Staff analyzes the impact of legislative and regulatory issues, and develops a coordinated strategy for responding to these issues.  Government Affairs staff maintains an active presence in Washington D.C. and Sacramento to ensure that Caltrain's interests are well represented in these various forums. Staff also coordinates local and community affairs and serves as the liaison between Caltrain, regional organizations, local government and the communities we serve.
