Caltrain, SamTrans Offer Christmas Day & Christmas Eve Service

 

Santa may have a late shift on Christmas, but he’s not alone, as both Caltrain and SamTrans will be in operation for the holiday.

Caltrain will operate on its Sunday schedule on Friday, December 25. Trains will operate on a modified schedule on Thursday, December 24.

SamTrans will also be operating on a Sunday schedule on December 25, with regular service running on December 24. Schedules for specific routes can be found here.

The administrative offices of the San Mateo County Transit District, which manages Caltrain and SamTrans, and the 1st floor ticket sales booth will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Caltrain customer service is available by phone at 1.800.660.4287 on December 24, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on December 25, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
