Take Transit to Burlingame on the Avenue this Weekend

The time has come to find your sound on the stage in Burlingame this weekend. Burlingame on the Avenue comes alive with music to suit most tastes not to mention the great food, drink, and craft booths. Make your day easy by riding SamTrans or Caltrain to and from the event.

SamTrans offers the ECR and 397 bus routes, which stop at El Camino Real and Burlingame Avenue in Burlingame or hop onto Caltrain to the Burlingame station. Both are a short walk to the corner of Burlingame Avenue and Primrose Road. Weekday and weekend Caltrain schedules offer plenty of opportunities to get to and from the event site.

Summer is not complete without strolling through the streets eating your favorite treat while shopping for your next big find.  Just know you don’t have to worry about safely driving home if you make SamTrans or Caltrain your ride.

About Caltrain: Owned and operated by the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board, Caltrain provides commuter rail service from San Francisco to San Jose, with limited commute service to Gilroy. Caltrain enjoyed five years of consecutive monthly ridership increases, surpassing more than 65,000 average weekday riders. While the Joint Powers Board assumed operating responsibilities for the service in 1992, the railroad celebrated 150 years of continuous passenger service in 2014. Planning for the next 150 years of Peninsula rail service, Caltrain is on pace to electrify the corridor, reduce diesel emissions by 97 percent by 2040 and add more service to more stations.
