Tickets
Caltrain is a Proof-of-Payment system. NO
tickets are sold onboard. Buy your ticket from station vending
machines, station agents or by mail.
- Day Passes are valid all
day.
- Validate 10-ride tickets
and complimentary passes before boarding. Once validated, they're good
for four hours.
- Keep your ticket ready to
display while on the train.
- Passengers without valid
tickets are subject to citation.
Post Game Service
Caltrain operates two special trains after evening and weekend games and
one express train following 12:35 p.m. & 1:05 p.m. weekday games. An
express train to San Carlos leaves approximately 15 minutes after the last
out or when full and makes all local stops after San Carlos to San Jose
Diridon. The second train leaves 25 minutes after the game or
when full and makes all local stops to San Jose Dirirdon. On
Fireworks Nights, the express and local trains depart 15 and 25 minutes
after the fireworks, respectively, or when full.
