Thank you Stanford fans for taking Caltrain to the game! Please check back next August for the 2017 season.
Customers must have a valid fare before boarding the train. Keep your ticket or validated Clipper card handy to display to the conductor or fare enforcement officer. Customers without valid tickets may receive a citation and fine.
Ways to Pay
Caltrain offers a number of ways for customers to pay for their ride. Click HERE for fare information.
Day Pass: Purchase a Day Pass before heading to the game. There's no ticket machine at the Stanford station. Those who need to buy a ticket after the game will need to go to the Palo Alto station on University Avenue, about 1/2 mile north of the stadium station.
Clipper: Customers traveling with a Clipper card (8-ride Ticket or Clipper cash) can now tag off and on at the Stanford Stadium station. Caltrain staff with fare readers will be on the platform to assist Clipper customers. An alternative is to purchase a paper Day Pass at your origin station.
Group tickets: Groups of 25 or more can save 10% by pre-purchasing their Caltrain One-way tickets or Day passes. Program information is available HERE.
Caltrain reminds customers that open alcoholic beverages are prohibited on trains beginning at 9 p.m. on game nights.
