San Jose Earthquakes
Ride Caltrain to Earthquake Country!
Regular Home Field Games
San Jose Earthquakes soccer fans know they won’t be given a yellow card for taking the smart way to the game: Caltrain. With the Santa Clara station located across El Camino Real from Buck Shaw Stadium, fans can arrive relaxed and ready to see their team dribble and chip.
Service to Games
Caltrain provides hourly service on weekends from San Francisco to San Jose, with all local trains stopping at the Santa Clara station.
Ticket Tips
- Day Pass: It's the same price as two one-ways, but you won't have to worry about post-game ticket machine lines.
- 8-ride Ticket: Load your Clipper card with an 8-ride Ticket and receive a discount compared to one-way fares. Remember to tag on and tag off for each ride.
- Monthly Pass: Already have a Caltrain Monthly Pass but it doesn't include Zone 4? Buy a Zone Upgrade for only $2 per zone ($1.00 for Eligible Discount). Zone upgrades must be used with another valid Caltrain ticket.
Proof-of-Payment
Passengers must buy tickets BEFORE boarding. Tickets are available from ticket vending machines located at each station. Validate 8-ride tickets before boarding. Keep your ticket ready to display to the conductor or fare inspector while on the train. Passengers without valid tickets are subject to citation.
Open alcoholic beverages aren’t permitted on the train starting at 9 p.m. on game days.
