Catch Caltrain to the Palo Alto Station for Cardinal Football
Cardinal football fans can pass on driving and take Caltrain instead to the Palo Alto station for the first home game of the season.
Caltrain has made Stanford part of its game plan for all five home games starting Thursday, Aug. 28 with the game against Oregon State University at 6 p.m. Fans heading to the opener should deboard at the Palo Alto station, located at University Avenue and Alma Street, about one-half mile north of the Stanford Stadium.
Riders are advised to purchase a Caltrain Day Pass at their departure station before boarding the train in order to save time after the game. Caltrain is a Proof-of-Payment system and all passengers must have a valid ticket.
For additional information about train service and fares, call Caltrain at 1.800.660.4287 (TTY 650.508.6448).
