Caltrain Welcomes Fans For Stanley Cup Playoffs
Ice hockey fans can beat a direct path to the Stanley
Cup Playoff action at HP Pavilion April 16 and 18 by
taking Caltrain.
With its San Jose terminal located across the street
from HP Pavilion, Caltrain
service
makes it easy to avoid the hassle and expense
of driving and parking.
A number of trains arrive from San Francisco
and the Peninsula in time for the San Jose Sharks’
7 p.m. face-off against the Predators. The last
northbound train is scheduled to depart the
San Jose station at 10:30 p.m., but train departure
may be delayed up to 15 minutes after a Sharks game.
The train makes all regular local stops.
Trains stop at the Broadway and Atherton
stations on weekends only.
Caltrain is a Proof of Purchase system and
requires passengers to purchase tickets before
boarding. Ticket options include: One-way,
Day Pass, or 10-ride tickets. Passengers are
required to validate all 10-ride tickets before
boarding.
