Bounce On Over to the NCAA Men’s Semi-Finals On Caltrain
Traveling is no foul on Caltrain, when you
ride the rails to the NCAA Men’s Basketball
West Regional Semifinals at the HP Pavilion
in San Jose, on Thursday, March 22.
Fans can pick up two games that day.
The first game features Southern Illinois
vs. Kansas, starting at 4:10 p.m. The
second game features Pittsburgh vs.
UCLA, and will begin at approximately
6:40 p.m. Caltrain will be adding
capacity to its trains to handle the
crowds after the second game.
Caltrain will also serve the regional
final game on Saturday, March 24.
Check the
HP Pavilion schedule for
the game start time. On weekends,
Caltrain offers hourly service in and
out of San Jose.
With its San Jose terminal located
across the street from the arena,
Caltrain service makes it easy to
avoid the hassle and expense of
driving and parking. The last weekday
and Saturday northbound trains
depart the San Jose station at
10:30 p.m. The train makes all
regular local stops.
Caltrain is a Proof-of-Purchase
system and requires passengers
to purchase tickets before boarding.
