Caltrain Revs Up for Race Fans Headed to Monster Jam

Caltrain destroys the competition when it comes to beating traffic and parking hassles on the way to Monster Jam at AT&T Park in San Francisco, Saturday, Jan. 13.

With 32 hourly trains on Saturday, between San Jose and San Francisco, fans of monster truck racing have plenty of choices when planning their trip. And best of all, AT&T Park is just one block from the San Francisco Caltrain Station, which makes for a quick walk from the train to your seat.

In addition to its regular service, Caltrain will operate an extra Local train which will depart San Francisco 15 minutes following the Jam, or when full. The special train will make all weekend stops, including the Broadway and Atherton stations, and terminate at the San Jose Diridon station. The final train of the night departs San Francisco at 12:01 a.m.

Caltrain encourages customers to purchase a Day Pass on the way to the Supercross to avoid delays in boarding after the event. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on post-Supercross trains.

Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system; tickets are not sold on board trains but can be purchased at vending machines at the stations or at the San Francisco or San Jose ticket offices. For more information about Caltrain schedules and fares, call 1.800.660.4287 (TTY 650.508.6448).
