Take Caltrain to Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco, Oct. 21 - 26
Tech fans headed to the Oracle’s
OpenWorld 2006 at Moscone Center
in San Francisco, Oct. 21-26, can
avoid traffic and parking hassles by
taking Caltrain to the event.
Caltrain operates daily between
San Francisco and San Jose, with
weekday commute service to Gilroy.
Caltrain will operate 32 hourly trains
on Saturday, Oct. 21, and 28 hourly
trains on Sunday, Oct. 22. On
weekdays, Caltrain operates 96 trains.
Caltrain riders arriving in San Francisco
can board Muni Route 30 or 45, which
board at the intersection of Fourth and
Townsend streets, just across the
street from the train station. Because
of street closures for OpenWorld, these
buses will bring attendees to within
one block of the event at Moscone Center.
Caltrain is a “proof of payment” system;
tickets must be purchased before
boarding the train. Ticket vending
machines are available at stations.
