Catch Caltrain to Cardinal’s Games Stanford Stadium
Stanford football fans can score a transit touchdown
by taking Caltrain to home games at the new Stanford
Stadium. Caltrain will serve the stadium station for all
home games this season, starting with the game
against the U.S. Naval Academy on Saturday,
Sept. 16, at 7 p.m.
Located above Embarcadero Road at Alma Street,
Caltrain’s Stanford Stadium Station is a short walk
from the stadium.
Caltrain has made Stanford part of its
game plan for
all five home games; trains will begin stopping at the
stadium train station approximately two hours before
kickoff, until approximately four hours after the game
begins. There will be no extra service to the station,
so fans are urged to check the train schedule and
plan their departure accordingly. All Saturday trains
serve the Palo Alto station, which is located one-half
mile north of the stadium station.
Since there are no ticket vending machines at the
Stanford station, riders are advised to purchase a
Caltrain Day Pass at their departure station before
boarding the train to go to the game.
Kickoff times are subject to change due to potential
television coverage. For additional information about
train service and fares, call Caltrain at 1.800.660.4287
(TTY 650.508.6448).
