Caltrain Kicks Off Rail Suicide Awareness Effort

WHAT:
Kick off event for Caltrain’s effort to raise public awareness of rail safety with a focus on rail suicide prevention. Caltrain will introduce its team of walkers for the “Out of the Darkness Overnight” 20-mile walk, sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The walk takes place in July and Caltrain’s team has a goal of raising at least $1,000 each. Caltrain will be offering passengers and the community an opportunity to participate in this effort for prevention and education.
