County Supervisor Jerry Hill Sworn-In for Caltrain Board

San Mateo County Supervisor Jerry Hill, was sworn in today,
as a director on the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board,
which operates Caltrain.
Hill, also a member of the board for the San Mateo County
Transit District, has many years of experience with
transportation related issues, and has long been a
proponent of public transit.
"I look forward to working with the other directors to
continue the board's efforts toward providing the best
possible Caltrain service to the community," said Hill,
who was selected at this meeting to represent the JPB at
the Transbay Joint Powers Authority. The TJPA is working
to build a new transbay terminal in downtown San Francisco,
with an underground station for Caltrain.
Hill’s was appointed by the San Mateo County Board of
Supervisors to serve as their representative to the JPB.
