Caltrain Seeking Volunteers for Advisory Committee

Caltrain is accepting applications (PDF, 20.05 KB) to fill volunteer positions on its Citizens Advisory Committee.

The CAC is comprised of nine representatives from various segments of the community and acts in an advisory capacity to the tri-county Caltrain policy board. Responsibilities include providing input on the needs of current and potential transit users.

Applications (word version) are available at Caltrain headquarters, 1250 San Carlos Ave., in San Carlos; by calling 650.508.6279. Applicants must be a resident of San Francisco, San Mateo or Santa Clara counties, and the deadline for submitting applications is Friday, Aug. 19.

The CAC meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Caltrain headquarters in San Carlos, one block west of the San Carlos Caltrain Station. The committee also will occasionally meet in an adjoining county. All meetings are open to the public.
