Plan Your Weekend with Caltrain
Treat Caltrain like your personal entertainment planner and chauffeur this weekend.
Riding Caltrain on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22, you can catch a San Francisco
Giant’s game, check out the KFOG Kaboom concert and fireworks, get a taste of the good
life with “Taste of California” or just ride off into the sunset at the Sunset
Celebration in Menlo Park.
All of these activities are located within blocks of Caltrain stops.
Sunset Celebration
Sunset Magazine opens its Menlo Park headquarters once a year hosting its Sunset
Celebration both Saturday and Sunday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Attendees can ride to
the Menlo Park Caltrain Station and take the shuttle to the event.
Baseball and Kaboom
Giant’s fans and KFOG Kaboom concert-goers will have many options for heading into the
city. Caltrain is adding special service for KFOG Kaboom, which starts at 4 p.m. and
the Giant’s game starting at 5:05 p.m. Additional Saturday service will include:

all local stops
- Three special post-fireworks trains, departing 30 minutes after the fireworks end
Taste of California
For the wine aficionado, taking a detour to the “Taste of California” at the San Mateo
County Expo Center on Sunday might be just the way to wrap-up this fun-filled weekend.
The wine and food tasting event begins at 1 p.m. Attendees can take Caltrain to the
Hillsdale station and make the short walk north to the fairgrounds.
