Caltrain to Host Open House

Caltrain will host an Open House to discuss plans for the San Bruno/S. Linden Avenue grade separation March 23 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Belle Air Elementary School located at 450 Third Ave. in San Bruno.

Caltrain staff engineers will give a progress report on the plans, which are still in progress, and will answer questions.

Caltrain is working on a design, which will elevate the tracks in South San Francisco at Linden Avenue and in San Bruno at San Bruno, San Mateo and Angus avenues and relocate the San Bruno station to sit above the elevated tracks.

Caltrain staff has been working closely with the cities of San Bruno and South San Francisco. In addition, Caltrain and San Bruno have formed a Citizens Advisory Committee, which meets every two weeks to address public impacts and concerns related to project design.
