Caltrain Maintenance and Construction Nov. 28 to Dec. 1

From Nov. 28 to Dec. 1, crews will be replacing ties on the tracks between Mountain View and San Jose (from milepost 34 to 46). To avoid train delays, the work will take place from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., Monday to Thursday. There will be construction noise from heavy equipment used to take out the old ties, put in new ties, and tamp down the ties with a mechanical “tamper.”

Caltrain apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this vital maintenance work.
