Caltrain Adjusts Service for Aug. 8 Evening Baseball Game

Caltrain is adjusting service to get baseball fans to SBC Park for next Sunday’s
5:05 p.m. game against the Chicago Cubs.

Caltrain will operate two baseball specials, departing San Jose Diridon station at
1:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m., arriving in San Francisco at 3:21 p.m. and 4:21 p.m., respectively.

In addition to its regular southbound service departing San Francisco at 8 p.m. and
9 p.m., Caltrain will operate an express train to San Carlos, which leaves approximately 15 minutes after the end of the game or when full. That train makes all local stops after San Carlos.

A second train will leave San Francisco 25 minutes after the game or when full and will make all stops to San Jose.

On weekends, Caltrain makes the connection for most trains between the San Jose Diridon and the Tamien stations by means of a shuttle bus.
