Caltrain to work on Bayshore & Paul Street Tunnels at Night

As part of an on-going construction program, Caltrain will be using heavy machinery to mix cement beginning this Friday, August 27th and continuing through November 2004.

The Cement batch plant will be set-up on Carroll Street at 3rd, directly adjacent to the tracks. Work hours will be every night, including weekends from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. This work is part of an on-going construction program to rehabilitate the four Caltrain tunnels that run from 16th Street in San Francisco to Bayshore near Visitacion.
