Caltrain Ready to Roll for SF Pride Parade June 27
After a two-year hiatus for weekend construction, Caltrain is ready to roll to San
Francisco for the annual San Francisco Pride Parade on June 27.
The 34th Annual San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Parade begins
at 10:30 a.m., traveling west along Market Street to Eighth Street.
The first three scheduled trains on Sunday arrive in San Francisco at 8:36 a.m., 9:36
a.m. and 10:36 a.m.
Caltrain now offers hourly service on Sundays from about 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The last
southbound train leaves The City at 9 p.m. On weekends, trains operate between San
Francisco and the San Jose Diridon Station, with a shuttle bus connection between the
latter station and the Tamien station for most trains.
Since the last time Caltrain offered rail service to the parade, Caltrain has become
a Proof-of-Payment system, which means riders must have valid tickets before boarding.
Tickets are not sold on the train.
