Caltrain Hosts Strategic Plan Workshops in January

Caltrain is holding a series of public workshops in January to receive feedback on its Draft Caltrain Strategic Plan, which is a 20-year plan that presents the Caltrain Vision and Guiding Principles, and outlines the service, capital and financial plans for fiscal years 2004 -2023.

The workshops, which will feature stations with details on the strategic plan, will be held in San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. Attendees can learn more about the strategic plan and provide feedback on the final plan that will eventually be adopted by Caltrain's Board of Directors.

Four scenarios - Status Quo, Modest Growth, Enhanced and Build Out - present alternative futures for Caltrain, service levels, capital improvements and financial policies are tied to each of the scenarios.
