Caltrain September Board Meeting to be Held in SF

The Caltrain policy board will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, in the legislative chamber at San Francisco City Hall instead of its usual location at Caltrain headquarters in San Carlos.

To promote wider public participation, the board's practice is to hold one meeting per year in both San Francisco and Santa Clara counties, which are partners with San Mateo County Transit District in providing Caltrain service. The August meeting was held in San Jose.

San Francisco City Hall is located at 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place and is readily accessible by public transportation. Those taking Caltrain to San Francisco can transfer to Muni's N-Judah line to the Civic Center station. Alternatively, people can take BART from northern San Mateo County to Civic Center.
