Caltrain Adds Service for Dixie Chicks Concert

When Dixie Chicks fans head to the HP Pavilion in San Jose July 16, they can leave the driving to Caltrain.

A number of trains arrive at San Jose Diridon Station, which is across the street from the pavilion, in time for fans to get to their seats.

To accommodate the sell-out crowd, Caltrain will add one special post-concert train to take fans home. The special train will depart San Jose 20 minutes after the concert ends. (Note: The concert is expected to end around 10:35 p.m.)

Passengers can save $3 by purchasing round-trip tickets before boarding the trains. Tickets can be bought from vending machines located at each station.
