Caltrain's Citizens Advisory Committee June 18 Meeting Cancelled, Joint CAC Meeting June 30

Three groups which advise transportation leaders will hold a joint meeting June 30 to hear about plans for the extension of Measure A, San Mateo County's half-cent transportation tax.

The 5:30 p.m. meeting will bring together members of the citizens advisory committees for Caltrain, SamTrans and the San Mateo County Transportation Authority. The TA administers the county's 20-year Measure A half-cent transportation sales tax that was approved by voters in 1988. Both Caltrain and SamTrans receive TA funding.

The meeting will focus on plans for extending Measure A and will provide a forum for questions, answers and discussion among CAC members.

The June 30 meeting will be held in the second floor auditorium at SamTrans' administrative offices at 1250 San Carlos Ave., two blocks from the San Carlos Caltrain Station.

The Caltrain CAC meeting scheduled for June 18 has been cancelled. The regularly scheduled TA CAC meeting will take place at 4 p.m. on June 30.
