Caltrain Takes Fans to the Playoffs at Pac Bell Park

Caltrain will take baseball fans to Pacific Bell Park, if necessary, on Oct. 5 when the San Francisco Giants take on the Florida Marlins in the final game of the National League Division Series. The game is scheduled to begin at 1:05 p.m.

For game five, Caltrain's express baseball bus service is available.

Three express routes serve 15 stations between San Jose and San Francisco. The buses are scheduled to drop off at Fifth and Berry streets 40 minutes before the first pitch. The last buses depart from the same location 30 minutes after the final out.

Giants fans are reminded that Caltrain is now a Proof-of-Payment system and tickets must be purchased before boarding the train. A Day Pass is a good option for trips to the ballpark: it's only twice the cost of a One-way Ticket but is good for the entire service day.
