Caltrain Rolls Out Service for Stones Concert Nov. 8

Caltrain will add extra service for the Rolling Stones concert at Pacific Bell Park on Friday, Nov. 8.

Concert-goers should note, however, that train service will not operate for the Saturday night concert.

In addition to regular service, three extra trains will operate on Nov. 8. These trains will depart the Tamien station in San Jose, each respectively departing 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled Trains 77, 79 and 81, making all regular local northbound stops on the way to San Francisco.

Extra cars will be added to other trains.

After the concert, passengers can choose among scheduled trains departing at 10 p.m. and 11:59 p.m., or the extra trains. Caltrain staff will direct passengers to the correct gates for express or local southbound service, which will depart when full.

No train service can be provided for the Nov. 9 concert because of Caltrain's ongoing weekend construction. Limited bus service is available to San Francisco from three Peninsula stations, but the last southbound bus departs at 8 p.m. For Caltrain fare and schedule information, call 1.800.660.4287 or (TDD only) 650.508.6448.
