Caltrain Unveils New Passenger Cars at CTX Event
WHAT: Governor Gray Davis will help Caltrain kick off
the largest rail improvement project in its history and also will unveil the first of
its new Baby Bullet passenger cars at an event in San Francisco on Friday, June 28.
Attendees and participants will be picked up at the South San Francisco Caltrain
Station at Dubuque and Grand avenues and taken to the ceremony at Fourth and King
streets in San Francisco in one of the new passenger cars.

WHY: North CTX construction will include a series of
much-needed rail improvements. Some of the construction benefits include,
modernizing the switching and signaling system, completing the work at the new
Millbrae station and laying additional tracks to accommodate future Baby Bullet
express service.
