Caltrain Takes Fans to the Playoffs at Pac Bell Park
Express Baseball Bus Service to Playoff Games
Caltrain will take baseball fans to Pacific Bell Park this weekend to see the San
Francisco Giants take on the St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Championship
series.
The rail agency will run its express baseball bus service to the playoff games. On
Saturday, Oct. 12 the first inning starts at 1 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 13 the game
starts at 4:30 p.m.
Three express routes serve 15 stations between San Jose and San Francisco. The buses
are scheduled to drop off at Fifth and Berry streets 40 minutes before the first
pitch. The last buses depart from the same location 30 minutes after the final out.
If game five is held Monday, Oct. 14 at 5 p.m., Caltrain will run extra trains ahead
of Trains 71 and 73. Extra trains will depart 30 minutes after the game. Regular
service trains depart at 10 p.m. and 11:59 p.m.
Purchase round-trip tickets at staffed stations or ticket vending machines before
boarding the bus or train to Pac Bell Park.
