HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE
The purpose of this guide is to instruct Caltrain patrons
on how to best reach their destination from Caltrain.
The guide's format is alphabetical and is cross-referenced
when destinations are identified by more than one name.
Each entry is broken into three segments. First is
the destination. It contains only capital letters and is in
bold print. Second is the station closest to the destination.
It contains capital letters only. The third segment
describes how to reach the destination by transit or by walking.
We've also included telephone numbers when appropriate:

NOTE ON SAN FRANCISCO MUNI CONNECTIONS: The N-Judah Muni Metro streetcar line on
King Street operates along The Embarcadero to Market
Street, where it goes into a subway, with stops at
Embarcadero, Montgomery Street, Powell Street, Civic Center and
Van Ness Avenue, before surfacing at Duboce Avenue
and continuing west to Ocean Beach. The terminal for
Muni buses 30 and 45 is on Townsend Street across
Fourth Street from the Caltrain Fourth and King streets station.
For destinations going in the direction of Van Ness
Avenue, passengers should catch the Muni 42 bus on Fourth
Street, across Townsend Street from the station. For
destinations going in the direction of the financial district or
Fisherman's Wharf, they should catch the Muni 42 bus on
Townsend Street at the station. The stop for the Muni 15 bus is
on Fourth Street, across from the station.
